Hello, All! My name is Amy, and welcome to Amy’s Advice.
Once a month, you can join me right here for tips and tricks to help you make the most of your tracking experience with us. This month’s belated recommendation is that you check out how to enable the Auto Arm Feature.
As explained in August’s Amy’s Advice, Arming (motion alerts) is best used with our hardwired vehicle trackers. With just the tap of the “Arm” button, this feature allows you to receive email or push alerts if your vehicle moves (i.e. gets towed, impacted or driven away without your knowledge). Great to use if you’ll be leaving your car parked in a new/seemingly unsafe area for a while!
Auto Arm is a feature which allows you to program your tracker to automatically enable the motion alerts for your tracker, outside of certain hours. So, outside of your working hours, for example. If you then use the vehicle during those hours, the motion alerts will automatically be re-activated for you once they have been triggered.
Simply ensure that you have set up email alerts (also in August 2021’s Amy’s Advice), or push alerts (see January 2021’s Amy’s Advice), then follow along with the video guides, below!
Please be aware that this feature can only be used by our Asset Platform users, and can only be enabled by logging into our website via a PC/Laptop/Tablet.
