Amy’s Advice: How to Set Up Low Battery Alerts – September 2021

Amy's Advice News

Hello, All! My name is Amy, and welcome to Amy’s Advice.

Once a month, you can join me right here for tips and tricks to help you make the most of your tracking experience with us. This month’s recommendation is that you check out how to enable Low Battery alerts, using our mobile app or online tracking platform.

For those using our hardwired vehicle trackers, this feature alerts you via email or push notification if your tracker gets unplugged, or if your vehicle battery voltage drops. For those who use our battery-operated (personal or leaflet or long-life) trackers, you will receive this alert if the tracker’s internal battery gets too low.

The best part is, you can choose how soon you get notified! For vehicles for example, you may want to set it to alert you if the voltage reaches below 10V (10,000mv). Whereas you may need a battery-operated tracker to alert you when it reaches below 20% battery life.

Simply ensure that you have set up email alerts (I will show how, below), or push alerts (see January 2021’s Amy’s Advice post), then follow along with the video guides, below!
