The Thatcham CAT5 tracker is the highest recognised level of security by insurance companies. This level of tracker is commonly required for high value vehicles and will normally be requested when purchasing insurance.The CAT5 tracker offers the very best and widest range of security features including 24/7 monitoring along with a number of alerts to indicate tampering or vehicle use without the DRS (Driver Recognition System) fob. If the vehicle was stolen the monitoring control centre will liaise with the police to ensure the quick recovery of the vehicle.
The SmarTrack CAT 5 tracker will be installed at your convenience at any UK postcode. The Thatcham approved engineer will bring the tracker with them so once booked you have nothing else to do.
As soon as the fitting is completed you will be contacted to setup the subscription for the tracker and a insurance certificate will be sent to you to share with your insurance company. The tracker is supplied with a 3 year warranty so offers you peace of mind that your vehicle is well protected.
Please be aware that CAT 5 trackers are going to be recategorised soon and so may be referred to as a S5 insurance approved trackers.
