We were recently approached by Mark Owen who is the Senior Regional Manager of Virgin Media Business East Midlands about their annual charity event – VMB Bottom2Top. On the 15th May 2 riders (Mark and his colleague) will cycle 200km a day for 5 days from Cosham all the way to Glasgow. Which totals at 1000km or approximately 700 miles in total over the 5 days!
They are raising money for CRY – Cardiac Risk in the Young. Mark Owen said “We are raising funds for The Reece Jeffrey Memorial Fund; my 15 year old Godson who died whilst playing football. As well as Joe Kellogg, an promising young sportsman who played cricket with me.”
Please check out the Virgin Media fundraising page and any donations would be highly appreciated by Mark – https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-display/showROFundraiserPage?userUrl=VMBBottom2Top&pageUrl=1
