What is DVS and what do you need to know? DVS (Direct Vision Standard) is a star rated safety permit, earned by the installation of safety equipment on HGV’s that enter London. If your HGV doesn’t have a DVS safety permit and enters London after March 1st 2021; both the operator and the driver will be fined up to £550 each time.
